The Tudor Ranger Ref. 79950 “Dune White” is a modern interpretation of the classic expedition watch, combining Tudor's rugged tool-watch heritage with a distinctive beige dial inspired by the desert landscapes of the Dakar Rally. Introduced in 2025, this new variation builds upon the Ranger's longstanding association with exploration, dating back to Tudor watches accompanying the British North Greenland Expedition in the early 1950s. Its 39mm stainless steel case features a fully satin-brushed finish, smooth steel bezel, and a 12mm thickness, giving it a purposeful, understated appearance. The defining feature is its warm, matte beige dial, which Tudor calls “Dune White,” contrasted by bold black Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock and matching painted hour markers. The Ranger's signature arrow-shaped hands and angular seconds hand preserve the collection's vintage military-inspired design, while luminous material ensures excellent visibility in low-light conditions. A domed sapphire crystal, screw-down crown bearing the historic Tudor rose, and 100 meters of water resistance complete the durable construction. The watch is offered on either a three-link stainless steel bracelet with Tudor's T-fit quick-adjustment clasp or a green fabric strap with red and beige stripes.

Inside is Tudor's Manufacture Calibre MT5402, a COSC-certified automatic movement featuring 27 jewels and operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. Its variable-inertia balance, non-magnetic silicon hairspring, and bidirectional winding system provide reliable timekeeping and an impressive 70-hour power reserve, allowing the watch to remain running throughout an entire weekend off the wrist.
