The Rolex Submariner Date Ref. 126610LN is the modern evolution of one of the most recognizable dive watches ever produced. Introduced in 2020 as the successor to the 116610LN, the reference increased the Oystersteel case from 40mm to 41mm while simultaneously refining the proportions with slimmer, more tapered lugs and a wider bracelet. The classic black dial features Rolex’s Chromalight display with large luminous hour markers, paired with a unidirectional 60-minute bezel fitted with a virtually scratch-resistant black Cerachrom ceramic insert and platinum-coated graduations. A sapphire crystal with Cyclops magnifier covers the instantaneous date at 3 o’clock, while Rolex’s Triplock screw-down crown and Oyster case provide professional-grade water resistance to 300 meters.

Inside is Rolex’s in-house Caliber 3235, a significant mechanical upgrade over the long-running Caliber 3135 found in the previous generation. The automatic movement incorporates Rolex’s highly efficient Chronergy escapement, paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, Paraflex shock absorbers, and approximately 70 hours of power reserve, while its Superlative Chronometer certification guarantees accuracy to -2/+2 seconds per day after casing.
