The Girard-Perregaux Laureato Green Ceramic Aston Martin Edition Ref. 81010-32-3081-1CX is a striking collaboration between one of Switzerland's oldest watch manufacturers and the legendary British luxury sports car maker. Released in 2023 and limited to just 388 examples worldwide, this special edition takes the iconic Laureato design, originally introduced in 1975, and gives it an unmistakable Aston Martin identity. Its 42mm case is crafted entirely from green ceramic, a first for the Laureato collection, with alternating satin-brushed and polished surfaces that emphasize the watch's distinctive octagonal bezel and integrated architecture. Measuring just 11.08mm thick, the case is paired with a matching green ceramic bracelet, creating a cohesive and exceptionally lightweight design. The rich green sunray dial features an intricate crosshatched pattern inspired by Aston Martin's automotive heritage, complemented by applied rhodium-plated hour markers and skeletonized hands filled with luminous material. A date window at 3 o'clock, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, sapphire exhibition caseback bearing the Aston Martin logo, and 100 meters of water resistance complete this distinctive luxury sports watch.
Inside is Girard-Perregaux's in-house Calibre GP01800-2165, a beautifully finished automatic movement composed of 191 components and 28 jewels. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, the movement delivers a minimum 54-hour power reserve while displaying central hours, minutes, seconds, and date. Visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback, the movement showcases traditional Swiss finishing, including Côtes de Genève decoration, circular graining, beveled components, and a decorated oscillating weight. The collaboration between Girard-Perregaux and Aston Martin began in 2021, bringing together two manufacturers celebrated for their precision engineering, innovative materials, and distinctive design philosophies. The green ceramic construction pays tribute to Aston Martin's iconic British racing green, while the Laureato's integrated bracelet and architectural case design reflect the same balance of performance and elegance found in the marque's grand touring automobiles. With its full green ceramic construction, richly textured dial, manufacture movement, and production limited to only 388 pieces, the Laureato Green Ceramic Aston Martin Edition represents one of the most visually distinctive and collectible interpretations of Girard-Perregaux's celebrated integrated sports watch.

Brand History
Brand History
Girard-Perregaux traces its origins back to 1791, making it one of the oldest names in Swiss watchmaking. The brand, as it’s known today, was officially formed in 1856 through the marriage of Constant Girard and Marie Perregaux—uniting two horological legacies. Throughout the 19th and 20th centuries, Girard-Perregaux became known for its pioneering spirit and in-house manufacturing. One of its most iconic achievements came in 1889 with the Tourbillon with Three Gold Bridges, a revolutionary movement design that turned structural components into aesthetic elements—earning a gold medal at the Paris Universal Exhibition and becoming a symbol of the brand’s blend of technical and artistic mastery.
Today, Girard-Perregaux continues to honor its heritage while embracing modern innovation. The Laureato, first introduced in 1975, stands out as the brand’s signature luxury sports watch, known for its octagonal bezel and integrated bracelet. The Bridges collection pays homage to its tourbillon legacy, while the 1966 and Vintage 1945 lines reflect classic elegance and timeless styling. With a strong emphasis on in-house movement development and architectural design, Girard-Perregaux remains a respected force in haute horlogerie—valued by collectors who appreciate tradition, innovation, and a distinct visual identity that sets it apart in the world of Swiss luxury watches.
